TruHacks is a dynamic, 48-hour-long hackathon scheduled from March 22nd to March 24th, 2024. GDSC Truman and CCE Truman created this competition to unite coding enthusiasts and entrepreneurs from around the globe to foster innovation and collaboration to solve real-world problems. TruHacks ithe 1st intercollegiate hackathon at Truman State University.
TruHacks will have three categories
Maximum of 4 members in a team. Minimum can be 1.
1. Beginners (High school and Freshman Students)
- Strictly for high schoolers of junior and seniors, and freshman college students
- High Schoolers can form a team with the freshman college students if they want.
- Will be required to submit a working program based on the theme.
- Use of Online Resources is allowed but are required to present a separate document
for the citations and references. Inline comments must be used to show the portion of
code used or learned from these sources.
- Cannot participate in both Beginners and Developers Category
- Projects must strictly align with the theme.
2. Developers
- Cannot participate in both Beginners and Developers Category.
- Will be required to submit a working program based on the theme.
- Use of Online Resources is allowed but are required to present a separate document
for the citations and references. Inline comments must be used to show the portion of
code used or learned from these sources.
- Projects must strictly align with the theme.
3. Business Projects
- Can participate in both Beginners and Business or Developers and Business
Category
- Students who are interested in this category need not have any coding experience.
- Will be required to present a 2 – 5 minute-long presentation.
- Projects must strictly align with the theme.
