Opening keynote speakers:

Bashshar Atif:

Atif is a software engineer with experience in technical sales and product development. He serves as a student ambassador for the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP), where he shares his growing interest in web3 technology, decentralization, and the significance of technical knowledge in blockchain. Bashshar welcomes discussions and questions on product development, software engineering, and web3, hoping to learn together with those who are curious.

Melbin Thomas:

Melbin is a leading product and protocol design at DECIDE AI. Previously co-founded and exited Sahicoin, a social crypto investment platform and a Univeristy of Toronto grad. DECIDE AI is a decentralized AI ecosystem designed to provide a comprehensive solution for developing, deploying, and managing AI models and applications. Powered by the Internet computer protocol, we aim to empower businesses, developers, and researchers with a robust platform that simplifies the entire AI lifecycle, from data acquisition to model deployment.


Google Developer Experts:

Tanmay Bakshi:

Tanmay is currently an AI architect at IBM, a GDE in Machine Learning, a Ted speaker, and the creator of Tanmay Teaches, a YouTube channel with over 300K subscribers aiming to provide easy-to-follow programming tutorials. He was also featured on Jubilees "I'm a Genius. Ask Me Anything".

David Cardozo:

David is the Chief Lead Analyst/Tech Lead at Updata, as well as a GDE in Machine Learning and AI. He will spearking about Google's Gemini, a revolutionary chatbot allowing access to Google's AI models. 


Guest speakers:

Paurali Rahevar:

Paurali is a TMU CS alumni with previous experience at IBM, TD, and Bell, She is currently working at Google as a Program Manager. Learn how she worked her way to a position at FAANG and more about biases in the tech industry!

Shaiza Hashmi:

Shaiza is a software engineer at TD who graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Computer Science in 2023. She has over eight years of coding experience, specializing in design and front-end development.

Lucky Osunbiyi:

Lucky is currently a Payments SWE at BMO. He will be talking to us about the importance of networking and how to build a successful platform.
