Get ready to sink your teeth into some fun, challenging problems at the next Kick Start event this Sunday the 21st of March!💻💻 Kick Start is a global online coding competition, consisting of three-hour rounds of a variety of algorithmic challenges designed by Google engineers. Participants can compete in one or all online rounds held throughout the year, and will have the opportunity to develop and grow their programming abilities while getting a glimpse into the technical skills needed for a career at Google (top participants may be invited to interview at Google). GDSC is also hosting an in-person event for those of you that want to take part! We'll do the competition, discuss the questions afterwards, and then celebrate our efforts with food~~ While the competition itself starts at 5:00 pm on Sunday, we'd like participants to be there by 4:45 pm at the latest so we can go over the ground rules. If you're a beginner to these types of competitions, feel free to come in anytime after 4:00 pm and we can answer your questions and help you with the basics (and maybe go through some previous problems & solutions). Even if you aren't a beginner, you're more than welcome to come in early and have a chat! The rules are that no talking is allowed during the 3 hours that the competition is going on. It is recommended that participants have a basic knowledge of any language that Kick Start supports.
