Developers no longer need to create every service from scratch. APIs allow developers to access data from a service (like Google or Twitter) without knowing how the codebase has been implemented.
API or Application Programming Interface is a software intermediary that allows two applications to talk to each other. APIs are an essential part of software development today because each service component is distributed into a single contained entity and hence requires communication with other services for processing requests.
Agenda for this workshop:
• What is API
• Importance of API and its future
• Hands-on practice to learn API
• Build Gitfinder Project
