Summary: This workshop aims to help the HKUST community enhance their technical proficiency in Google Developer tools such as Flutter and TensorFlow with hands-on practice examples and a real-life project demo. In addition, we also incorporate a guest speaker-sharing session to provide career insights from the tech industry.

Google Developer Student Club @HKUST aims to bridge the gap between theory and practical application for student developers, empower students to impact their communities through technology, and build real solutions for local businesses and communities.
This year, our vision is to build a closely connected tech community within HKUST that accelerates members' knowledge, career, and personal growth. On top of the above events, we aim to build a closely connected tech community by building several themed discord groups for schoolmates to exchange their thoughts and ideas. Furthermore, we hope to organise more physical and online meetings and possibly a join-university hack day!
Majoring in Enterprise Information Systems, and having a strong passion for the IT industry, especially cloud architecture and related technologies. Also interested in exploring emerging technologies. Activity seeking opportunities in cloud architecting. Obtained certifications in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and RPA.
The Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) in The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) is a student-run community supported by Google Developers.
At GDSC PolyU, by collaborating with Google, students from all backgrounds come together and learn, collaborate and work on new technologies. We nurture a culture of collaboration to make an impact in the local community, and bring tech opportunities and careers to all.
We currently have seven divisions: AR/VR, artificial intelligence, blockchain, cybersecurity, IoT & hardware, UI/UX, and web development. With the divisions, we organise many exciting events such as ted-style talks, hackathons, hands-on/learning workshops, networking events and much more!
