Good day, everyone. In this talk, we're going to be discussing a topic that has become increasingly important in recent years: High Performance Computing, or HPC. HPC refers to the use of computer systems that are designed to perform complex calculations and processing tasks at extremely high speeds, making them essential tools for researchers and organizations that need to analyze and process vast amounts of data quickly.
The development of HPC systems has been driven by advances in computer hardware and software, as well as innovations in networking and storage technologies. HPC systems are often used in conjunction with specialized software tools and programming languages that are optimized for parallel processing and distributed computing.

She did her schooling from K.V. IIT Bombay and was the First Rank holder in CBSE XII. She did her BE in Computer Science from TSEC in 2007 and after clearing GATE she joined Bhabha Atomic Research Centre in 2007. There she pursued MTech in “Computer Science with specialization in Nuclear Engineering” from Homi Bhaha National Institute and was the gold medalist of her batch.
She has made significant contributions in development of indigenous Storage Area Network based Storage Systems - ‘SANGRAH’ and ‘ANUPAM’ Supercomputers that provide state-of-art Infrastructure in the areas of storage and computing to BARC scientists & engineers. The innovative products designed and developed by her, both in system and applications domain have been deployed at projects of national importance and international collaborative projects. She has also contributed in the Gridview project under DAE-CERN collaboration and developed report generating framework for Large Hadron Collider Computing Grid sites. She has played a major role in design & development of Data Archival Storage System of MACE Telescope Hanle, Ladakh, the highest (in altitude) and second largest Cerenkov telescope in the world, a shining example of Make in India initiative. On the Academic front, she is a faculty of BARC Training school for Advanced Operating System (UNIX) and technical advisor and project guide for MTech students and interns.
She is a recipient of Homi Bhabha Award OCES, 2008 and DAE Group Achievement award 2020 for the MACE Project.
She has been winner of BARC Badminton and Swimming Tournaments for the past 10 years and also represents BARC and Department of Atomic Energy in national level tournaments for both the sports.
