DevFest is an annual decentralised tech conference hosted by Google Developer Groups across the globe. DevFest 2022 will be the 11th year 🎉 of DevFest and marks the beginning of the second decade of the GDG community.
This year GDG Jalingo will be collaborating with Google Developers Student Club Taraba State University Jalingo to create a space for students at the DevFests by focusing on something that is top of mind for student developers - career opportunities.
Career Fair @ DevFest is track that will provide:
- Career and networking opportunities for GDGs, GDSCs and other DevFest attendees
- Increased: awareness of GDG, attendees to DevFest → increased GDG membership
- Opportunity for local businesses to support local tech and match with talent
