Waleed Arshad is a core mobile technologist, an author, and a passionate cross-platform developer. He has recently authored a book named “Managing State in Flutter Pragmatically”. He is also the first person from Pakistan to become a Google Developer Expert (GDE) in Flutter. After graduating from FAST, he has been working in the industry for more than five years and is currently working in the Developer Experience team for Flutter at Tendermint Inc.. He also holds a Masters in Computer Science from IBA Karachi. Along with that, he is currently leading Pakistan’s Flutter community.

GDSC SMIU is honoured to welcome Waleed Arshad as a guest speaker. He will join us to talk about his journey as the first ever Pakistani GDE for Flutter and will share what he has learned from his experience in the Pakistani software industry. He will also shed some light on the Null-Safety feature in Flutter.
