Garth Gilmour will deliver a fast paced introduction to the world of Kotlin. After a summary of the features that make the language special he will introduce creating microservices with Ktor, building UI's with JetPack Compose, testing with Kotest and managing complex builds via the Kotlin Gradle DSL. All the materials will be deployed via a dedicated JetBrains Space instance, so attendees can code along.
