ODE TO CODE aims to test the debugging and DSA skills of the participants using the not-so-familiar ESOTERIC LANGUAGES.
WHAT ARE ESOTERIC LANGUAGES?
An esoteric or esolang language is a language that is not designed to offer an efficient or elegant solution to computational problems but to explore the basic ideas behind the theory of computation as a proof of concept or to have fun and create the rarest programming language in the world.
WHY USE ESOTERIC LANGUAGES?
The main advantage is that it gets you to think in a new way. It's like a brainteaser or math puzzle, except open ended. You can always puzzle yourself more by trying to write yet another program in an esoteric language. Most tech giants, use a language that is native to their companies and not a widely used one, esoteric languages thus help us adapt to a new language pushing us out of our comfort zone. This competition is one such attempt to test the participants on how quick they are able to adapt to a new coding environment.
