Machine learning is a computer theory developed by a group of computer scientists who want computers to think like people. Google Assistant and Google Photos developed by Google are products based on machine learning. Neural network is a kind of machine learning that imitates the structure and function of a biological neural network. In the future, machine learning may be an indispensable element in our life.

This session introduces the intermediate track. You will refresh your understanding of what machine learning is and some key terminology related to supervised machine learning models. You will be learning the basics of machine learning problem framing and gaining a deeper understanding of how to evaluate a potential machine learning problem.

If you did not participate in the Beginner Track, don’t worry, we will have a review in class.
