For English Scroll Down 👇👇👇 "علينا أن نجد طريقة لمواصلة رفع النساء الأخريات في عوالمنا وفي حياتنا قدر الإمكان." -ميشيل أوباما كأكبر الداعمين لحركة المرأة في التكنولوجيا، مش هينفع يوم المرأة العالمي يعدي من غير ما نحتفل بيه عشان لأنه وقت للاحتفال والاعتراف بالإسهامات والإنجازات العظيمة للمرأة في جميع أنحاء العالم 🎉 فكرة الايفينت بدأت ازاي؟ على مدار ال٩ سنوات الأخيرة، احتفلت Women Techmakers باليوم العالمي للمرأة، ف في ٢٠٢٠، عملنا حملة اسمها #TogetherWeRise، فبالرغم من الوباء العالمي ونقل كل الايفنيتات من علي ارض الواقع للاونلاين، وصلنا لأكثر من ٨٠،٠٠٠ امرأة حول العالم. في سنة ٢٠٢١، نأمل اننا نلهم نساء اكتر ونشتغل عشان نحقق المساواة في مجال التكنولوجيا ايه اللي هيحصل السنادي؟ 🤔 اجتمعت سفيرات Women Techmakers وGCDC وDSC عشان تستضيف الIWD Summit في بداية أبريل! طبعا كلنا عارفين إن كان في تحديات كتير خلال السنة اللي فاتت، خاصة بالنسبة للنساء، بدءًا من COVID إلى قضايا أوسع زي العدالة وحقوق الإنسان، لكننا هنفضل متفائلين للمستقبل والإيمان بأن مجتمعنا ممكن يصنع تغيير إيجابي 😍 عشان كدة هنستضيف speakers متخصصين يشاركوا خبرتهم في مجالات التكنولوجيا المختلفة ويقدموا Technical Sessions وورش #IamRemarkable لتشجيع و تمكين المرأة ✨ “We have to find a way to continue to lift other women up in our worlds and in our lives as much as possible.” -Michelle Obama As one of the biggest supporters of the women-in-tech movement, we weren’t going to let International Women’s Day pass without celebrating it for all its worth! 🎉 That is why we introduce International Women’s Day! IWD marks a moment to celebrate and recognize the incredible contributions and accomplishments of women around the world ✨ How did it start? For the past 9 years, Women Techmakers has celebrated IWD, In 2020, through the IWD campaign #TogetherWeRise in spite of a global pandemic and quick pivot to virtual, we reached over 80,000 women worldwide. In 2021, we hope to inspire even more women and allies across the globe in an effort to work towards equity in tech together What will happen during the event this year? 🤔 Women Techmaker ambassadors, the GCDC, and DSC communities have gathered to work together to host a virtual IWD summit at the beginning of April! We recognize that there were tremendous challenges over the past year, especially for women, from dealing with COVID to broader issues of racial justice and human rights, but we remain hopeful about the future and the belief that together our community can create positive change throughout the world 😍 We will be hosting numerous wonderful speakers who will join us to share their experience, host technical sessions, and give #IamRemarkable workshops about women empowerment ✨ Stay tuned! ♥️
