We'll be hosting a How To Git Started - Hands-On Workshop on Thursday, March 18th, 8:00 PM EET. Join us if you want to learn more about Git & GitHub workflow. 


Git is an open-source distributed version control system designed to handle everything from small to very large projects with speed and efficiency. The purpose of this workshop is to learn how to use it on the command line and see the changes happen on GitHub. GitHub is a platform for hosting and collaborating on Git repositories which lets you and others work together on projects from anywhere. 

Requirements: 

  1. Download Git for your operating system.
  2. Create your GitHub account using your student e-mail address.  
  3. Have a look at the Git commands.
