What is Artificial Intelligence?

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a wide-ranging branch of computer science concerned with building smart machines capable of performing tasks that typically require human intelligence. AI is an interdisciplinary science with multiple approaches, but advancements in machine learning and deep learning are creating a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the tech industry.

What will this session cover?

This is a theory + hands-on workshop for getting started with Machine Learning in particular.

If you are new to Machine Learning or haven't heard of it, don't worry! We have got it covered for you.

We'll be covering all the key points that one might need for getting started with it, starting from the basics of Machine Learning to the important concepts of Classification- Logistic Regression.

We will be guiding you from all the basic theoretical knowledge to implement them on your own! It will be a follow-along session so be ready with your laptops and PCs. It's going to be fun!

Throughout the session, we will be providing numerous guidelines, helpful tips, important DOs and DON'Ts of ML, and much more. We aim to provide all the knowledge and support for understanding the community standards so that you'll be confident to make your own projects, small or huge if you want to.

We will also provide you awesome repositories and projects which are some state-of-the-art implementations so that you can work on them and gain experience with practical applications. We have also planned to work on a few projects, maintain these projects well, and eventually lead them to grow better and huge with the help of the wonderful community. Joining us for this session will help you understand our community guidelines and make it easier for everyone to work together on future projects.

What are the prerequisites for this session?

  • A system to work on (Laptop/ PC),
  • A reliable internet connection, and
  • Enthusiasm to be an active member of a developer community!
