Google Developer Student Clubs PCCOER - Information Session

About this event

In the information session, we will be giving a brief overview of what GDSC is, the roadmap for the year, the benefits of participating in GDSC PCCOER events and how you can contribute.

Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC) are community groups for college and university students interested in Google developer technologies. Students from all undergraduate or graduate programs with a common interest in growing as a developer are welcome. By joining a GDSC, students grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their communities. University students who are a part of GDSC gain access to Google technology, events, and mentorship while training their local community through fun meetups, project building activities, and global competitions.

Global Impact:

With Connecting millions of students and developers on one platform, there is a noticeable growth in an individual's problem-solving skills, empathy and awareness of the problems around them. This helps to solve the local problems in their community using their skills, with the additional support of Google's technologies. Their enhancement of skills, network outreach and career development go hand in hand. This development can also motivate them to empower others and hence help them give back to their community.

Benefits of Being in GDSC:

• Chance to grow a personal and professional network.

• Building real-life solutions to local problems in your community.

• Awesome swags and goodies.

• Be recognized as a collaborator with Google Developers.

How you can contribute:

Any one of you can contribute by actively participating in events organised by GDSC PCCOER and by suggesting new ideas on how to tackle the problems faced in the local communities.

You can also make your glorious presence felt by participating in Hackathons, engaging yourselves in study jams sessions, meetups, technical discussions, campaigns and many more such opportunities.
