Furthermore, in this coming workshop and in the future, it is helpful to be familiar with Git / GitHub. If you don’t already, it is highly recommended that everyone go to https://github.com/ and create an account. GitHub is a platform to house repositories of all of your software projects, and it’s commonly used in the software industry.
