About this event

Join us for our first workshop of the Spring 2021 Semester Wednesday evening on Feb. 4th, as we dive into Version Control on Github!

Not sure what version control is? Not a problem!

Version control is essentially a way of managing changes to sources of code. Those sources could be related to websites, email platforms, documents, and more! Another name for this concept is source control. And, why might it be important?

Well, whether you’re a software engineer or the CEO of your company, if there’s a large project that many different departments and representatives are collaborating on, it’s vital to be able to keep track of all of the changes and have each and every team member working on the latest version.

If that’s not enough to satisfy your hunger for knowledge right there (and we sure hope it isn’t), we would love to see you on Thursday!
