Shankar Sastry has also previously worked at Intel where he developed a software to improve production by 20x. The software would generate geometric models for numerical simulation of manufacturing processes in production of processors.

Shankar Sastry is also a Penn State Alumni who graduated in 2012 with a Ph.D in Computer Science and Engineering!
