The purpose of this event is to introduce the Google Developer Student Club at Northeast Lakeview College, and to give an idea of what we will be doing over the coming months. We are currently looking to fill two officer spots, and we are always looking for new members. Members will be able to participate in events and learn new things about technology while interacting with their peers. There will be a Q&A at the end of the session where new members will be able to chat with officers.

Hi! I'm Matt McCabe, and I am a second-year computer engineering student, currently co-enrolled at NLC, and A&M. I am interested in software and hardware engineering and want to make an impact on my community. I am the President/Lead (president just sounds better) of the GDSC at NLC because I enjoy learning new things and helping others with the things that I have learned in my free time. I aim to lead this club in a way that promotes learning whether that means experimenting and creating awesome software or helping others to learn some programming basics!
Hi, I'm Nick and I'm a current engineering student who is interested in cyber security, data structures, machine learning, web dev, and AI. I'm currently learning data visualization and the basics of data science with python and plan on learning C++, Java, and JavaScript. I’m looking to collaborate on just about anything, and love to help others problem solve. I am here to learn and help others learn through my role as a GDSC Officer at NLC.
Hello, my name is Connor Asadourian, and I am the vice-president of the GDSC at NLC. I am currently studying computer science and am interested in learning a bit more about software, while helping those in my community do the same. I have experience with Python and Unix and am interested in working in the field of computer science when I graduate. I am a HUGE cat lover and am eager to talk about it!
