🚀 The IEEE Student Chapter and Google Developer Student Club are collaborating to host a hybrid hackathon event in partnership with the Government of India's MoE's Innovation Cell initiative. 🇮🇳 This 9-hour hackathon event will be held both on college premises and online, on 27 Feb from 9 am to 6 pm. 💻👨💻 The hackathon focuses on addressing the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs) and encourages participants to create innovative solutions that can have a positive impact on society.
👥 The hackathon is open to all interested students from different educational institutions across India. 👥 College students are especially encouraged to participate on college premises, while other participants can join online. Participants will form teams of 3-4 members and work together to create solutions that align with the UN SDGs. 💡 The event provides opportunities for participants to network and collaborate with other students, industry experts, and technical mentors on-site. The event will also offer access to industry experts to help participants develop their ideas into working solutions.
🏆 Throughout the hackathon, participants will be judged based on their creativity, technical skills, and the impact of their solution on the problem statement. 🎉 The winning team will receive recognition and prizes.
💡 Additionally, the hackathon submission can also be submitted for the Solutions Challenge, which requires the solution to align with at least one of the UN SDGs and use one of the many Google technologies. 🌍 The Solutions Challenge provides participants with the opportunity to compete globally and showcase their solutions to a wider audience.
🎓 Overall, the hybrid hackathon event is an inclusive and impactful initiative that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship in the student community in India while contributing to the UN SDGs.
🙌 External participants can choose to participate on college premises or online, depending on their preference and circumstances.
