I’m a University Lecturer, joined as a Professor of Practice in Fall 2019. Previously, I worked for a consulting company, where my project was located at a major bank, for approximately 5 years. There I built up my skills by working on a number of back office web applications (some in Java and some in C#). Prior to joining NJIT I had attained the role of Lead Software Engineer.
Before I got into the official job market I had founded a solo startup company while I was a student. Over the years, I’ve been utilizing Unity to target Mobile, VR, and some WebGL for various projects. Additionally, I’ve worked with a neuroscience group as my main extracurricular focus and implemented a large number of tasks for them first using Android Studio, then migrated to using Unity. Aside from Unity, I’ve been heavily into Firebase, Vue.js, and Node.js for the web side of things.
Currently, I teach and do my best to pass on my knowledge and experience to help others grow and create wonderful things. Outside of that primary focus I still do my fair share of projects as well not only to keep my skills up but because I also enjoy creating.
I typically teach web development courses thus far, but have taught Android, System Admin, and Java to name a few.
