Android Study Jams are community-organized study groups for people to learn how to build Android apps in the Kotlin programming language, using the curriculum provided by Google.
This Study Jam bring you the Android Fundamentals Course which blends theory and practice to help you build great apps the right way. In the study Jam, you'll work with instructors, step-by-step, to build an Android app, and learn best practices of mobile development in general and Android development in particular.
During the course, you will get a general overview of mobile development for Android, learn basic programming concepts as well as core vocabulary and concepts in Android, get hands-on experience building a small app using the Kotlin language
If you are new to programming, the Android Basics in Kotlin course will show you how to build simple Android apps using the Kotlin programming language and Android Studio. No prior programming experience is necessary. You will be introduced to basic programming concepts as you learn about Android.
There are 2 tracks to choose from based on whatever you’re comfortable with:
Track #1 : Starts from the very basic, for people who have no prior knowledge of programming. But we expect basic logical aptitude.
Track #2 : For students familiar with Object-Oriented Programming, GitHub dealings, and experience in using an IDE.
You may choose either or complete both the tracks and claim your badges and certificate of completion.
