In this beginner-friendly workshop lead by Scott Donald, you'll get hands-on experience with Google Apps Script and learn how to build your own Canned Response Add-on.

The aim of this workshop is to introduce you to the Card Service Class in Google Apps Script, and to learn how to build a custom Canned Response Add-on using it. You will also learn about Google Workspace Add-on management and deployment, and Google Sheets before we finally walk you through the publication process to put the app on the Google Workspace Marketplace.

✅ A Google Workspace account (Either free Gmail account or domain account with access to Google Apps Script and GCP). This is required to build your workshop project and to share assets, templates and code on the day of the workshop.

Having a basic understanding of programming concepts (JavaScript/ Google Apps Script) will benefit you to get most out of the event.
