This workshop is designed for people who want to learn the fundamentals of Git and Github. In this hands-on session, you will learn how to create a repository, commit changes, and push code to Github. You will also learn how to clone repositories, branch and merge code, and resolve conflicts.In addition to learning the technical skills of Git and Github, you will also learn best practices for collaborative development, including code review, pull requests, and issue tracking. You will leave this workshop with a strong understanding of version control and the tools needed to manage your code effectively.
Prerequisites: No prior knowledge of Git or Github is required, but participants should have a basic understanding of programming concepts and be comfortable using the command line interface.
Materials: Participants will need access to a laptop with internet.
Outcome: By the end of the workshop, participants will have a solid understanding of Git and Github, including how to create a repository, commit changes, push code to Github, and collaborate with others.
