This introductory series aims to familiarize you with Firebase and demonstrate all of its incredible tools and services. In this first event, we'll be breaking down Firebase, why we need it, and how we can use it to build incredible apps that scale from our first user to our millionth! Along with the event, we will be providing the opportunity to engage with us by contributing to the mock e-commerce website which we'll be using to demonstrate the concepts we will be covering. The most up to date version of the website can be found here, but we will be working on different versions of the site for each topic: https://ecommerce-with-firebase-a7af6.web.app/ and the open-sourced repository can be found here: https://github.com/RafaelZasas/intro-to-firebase Community members who contribute to this project will be showcased at the beginning of each event and stand a chance to win DSC swag and other cool prizes!
