The goal of the 2023 Solution Challenge is to build a solution to a local problem using Google technologies, in accordance with one or more of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals.

About this event

Join us for the GDSC McMasterU Solutions Incubator Kick-off event where we will talk about the 2023 Solution Challenge and how you can build a project using Google technologies. We will talk about the timeline of the Incubator program, the 17 UN SDGs, resources to help you along the way, and the big Solution Design Day!

  • Top 100 teams win a T-shirt, certificate, and mentorship from Google and other experts to improve and submit a solution for the top prize.
  • Top 10 finalists win a $1,000 cash prize per team member and a feature in the Google Developers Blog and global Demo Day livestream, plus mentorship with a Google expert, swag, and a certificate.
  • Top 3 winners win a $3,000 cash prize per team member and a feature in the Google Developers Blog and global Demo Day livestream, plus mentorship with a Google expert, swag, and a certificate
