Smooth Like Flutter!: Exploring Cross-Platform App Development is a peer-to-peer hands-on workshop to be conducted by GDSC Mapúa-MCM and GDSC UIC. In continuation to GDSC Mapúa-MCM’s previous UI/UX Workshop conducted by the club last November 19, 2022, GDSC would like to continue the students’ learning path to cross-platform app development by introducing Flutter, one of Google’s most popular technologies in software development.
The first part of this app development workshop aims to introduce the fundamentals of cross-platform app development and the career opportunities related to it, provide a hands-on workshop on Dart programming language and Flutter, and have the individual attendees develop their own mobile application through the technologies involved. The workshop shall be open to all college students, from different schools within Davao City, who have a previous knowledge in programming or app development.

A third-year student at the University of Immaculate Conception, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a specialization in Health Technology. Currently working for Misfit as a Flutter Lead Engineer, where he works on creating games using Flutter, Mosh has a passion for creating apps using the Flutter framework, and often focuses on creating apps that can assist small businesses. He is also the current UI/UX Lead at GDSC UIC.
A Computer Science student who has a great interest in programming. He uses his spare time to create applications using React and Next.js, and is always looking forward to learning new technologies. Jericho has a desire to stay updated with the latest advancements in the web development field.
Gab is a Computer Science student with a passion in all things tech which includes his love for Google technologies. His desire to change the world was what made him to pursue his love for programming in the first place and still continues to learn new stuff everyday. He was formerly Lead and CEO and is currently the Chief Operating Officer of GDSC UIC, former Part-Time Systems Engineer of an Australia-based IT-firm specializing Web Technologies, and a volunteer at Google Developer Groups (GDG) Davao.
A true Flutter enthusiast, Abram spends most of his time exploring the ins and outs of creative development, data science, and other technologies. He is currently GDSC Mapúa-MCM's Chief Operating Officer, DEVCON Davao’s Sub-lead for Creatives, and recently a Notion Campus Leader.
Call him "Mr. Necessity", John Lester is a Cavite-based software engineer whose passion is to develop cool and awesome web and mobile applications based on his client`s necessities. Currently pursuing a career as a Lead Flutter Engineer for Business Automation at PDAX, he is proficient in different programming languages, front-end technologies, and other software tools including Dart, Flutter, Firebase, and Git/Gitlab. He believes that his expertise and experience is his best tool to impart inspiration and knowledge to Software Engineers/Flutter Engineers of the future.
