Since 2020, the Google Solution Challenge has stood as a global opportunity for Google Developer Student Clubs to engage, showcasing innovative solutions that tackle the 17 Sustainable Development Goals set by the United Nations, leveraging the power of Google technologies.
The GDSC chapters in and around Kampala recognize the role of this program in contributing to the well-being of our society and are holding a hackathon with the theme Hack for People by addressing the first five Sustainable Development Goals: No Poverty, Zero Hunger, Good health and well-being, Quality Education and Gender Equality which hold significant relevance in Uganda.

The event is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 10th January 2024 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at the National ICT Innovation Hub featuring mentorship sessions, brainstorming sessions, team presentations, and networking opportunities. We aim to inspire innovation, fostering the development of solutions that tackle real-world challenges. All are welcome🤗.
