Are you ready to take your first step into the exciting world of web development? The GDSC of MUBS invites you to our 3-day web clinic where we'll teach you how to create your very own website using HTML, CSS, and PHP!

Our web clinic is perfect for those who are new to programming and want to learn the basics of web development. Don't worry if you have no prior experience - our friendly and knowledgeable instructors will guide you through each step of the process, ensuring that you learn in a fun and supportive environment.

Over the course of three days, you'll learn how to create a complete website from scratch. On day one, we'll start with the home page, teaching you how to use HTML and CSS to build a stunning layout. On day two, we'll dive deeper into CSS and show you how to create an about page that truly showcases who you are. Finally, on day three, we'll teach you how to add PHP to your website and create a dynamic contact page that will impress your visitors.

Our web clinic is not only a great opportunity to learn a new skill, but also to meet like-minded individuals who share your passion for web development. You'll have the chance to connect with other participants, ask questions, and get feedback on your work.

Format

3 day event.

Day 1 - Building the home page [ nav bar, content, footer]

Day 2 - Building your About page [ divs, css, flexbox, grid]

Day 3 - Building a contact form [ using php to show content in the database]

Note

This event will be in a computer lab so those that don't have personal computers should not be worried. However, those with laptops are highly encouraged to come with them for the event.
