Hello everyone,

AIcrowd in association with GDSC is hosting an RL Workshop on 13th November, Saturday.

Reinforcement Learning is how DeepMind created the AlphaGo system that beat the best Go player. The BRETT robot from UC Berkley used RL to move hands and arms to perform various human-like physical tasks. In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of Reinforcement Learning.

What Is This Workshop About?

In this workshop, you won’t be learning how to train your robot but you can participate and top the AI Driving Olympics leaderboard in the NeurIPS2021 AWS DeepRacer Challenge. The winner of this workshop wins their very own AWS DeepRacer Car worth $400 USD. Top 50 participants also win AIcrowd Merch and AWS credits!

If you are new to RL, don’t worry! We will provide you with the basics of Reinforcement Learning through theory. Using the easy to understand code notebooks, you will be able to make your first RL submission. We will also conduct a Q&A and resolve all participant queries.

Who Are The Speakers?

SP Mohanty

Sharada Mohanty is the CEO & Co-Founder of AIcrowd. He was previously a visiting Scientist @ CERN and a Doctoral Assistant @ EPFL. He completed his Bachelor and Master in CLD at IIIT Hyderabad.

Dipam Chakraborty

Dipam is a Machine Learning Engineer at AIcrowd. He was previously worked on Machine Learning Hardware Acceleration @ Intel. He completed his Bachelor and Masters in ECE from NIT Rourkela.

The event is open to all. Please signup here to attend the workshop. A basic understanding of python would be beneficial.
