About this event

The term open source refers to something people can modify and share because its design is publicly accessible.

"Open Source" represents a broad set of values—what we call "the open-source way." Open-Source projects, products, or initiatives embrace and celebrate principles of open exchange, collaborative participation, rapid prototyping, transparency, meritocracy, and community-oriented development.

"HACKTOBER FEST" 2022 is one of the biggest opportunities to get into Open Source, hence we urge every student to participate and know the importance of the Open-Source Community.

So to help you to kickstart your journey as an open source contributor, we have an amazing session planned out for you.

Mr. Tamal Das, Opensource Advocate at CodeinCommunity and maintainer at Eddiehub along with the facilitators from GDSC-MAIT will deliver some valuable content and guidelines for the attendees pn open source and help you get started with your journey as a contributor.
