GDSC - LPU is delighted to announce that we are hosting an insightful session on Google Crowdsource.
We are excited to kick off the Share Your Script campaign where we request you to donate images of handwritten text to Crowdsource! This is intended to help improve Optical Character Recognition’s ability to read the handwritten text in your native language by contributing images of your handwriting to the Image Capture task on Crowdsource app.
Google’s text-to-speech feature can help people in everyday life. Now, anyone can point their phone camera at text and hear that text translated and spoken out loud. There are several components that make this happen but we are most excited about text recognition, or optical character recognition (OCR) - the process of extracting and recognizing text data from an image.
It is an event crafted to introduce you to Machine Learning while also gaining practical experience by contributing to the Crowdsource App by Google.
