Abdallah is a college student with a keen passion for Python programming and machine learning. He is currently a Sophomore at LIU Brooklyn for Computer Science BS, an IT Technician at the DYCD, a member of the NSLS and the president of LIU CS Club.
Most recently, he became the Google Developer Student Club Lead at the Brooklyn campus. He undertook several projects and challenges from LeetCode, Advent Of Code 2022, as well as Web Scraping with selenium and PyQt 5. All of which have enhanced his knowledge of Python 3 and algorithms and data structures
He recently earned an introductory to computer science certificate for completing Harvard University’s CS50x course, including ten problem sets, ten labs and one final project. He successfully completed Columbia University’s 2022 SIAM Bootcamp earning a verified certificate in MatplotLib, Data Analytics, and applied Math. He continues to exert personal and independent efforts on FreeCodeCamp, building projects and postings on GitHub, All of which have enhanced his knowledge on Web scraping and Object Oriented Programming with Python.
He completed Google's IT Support Professionals Certificate, enhancing his knowledge in computer hardware specifications, CLI interfaces across Linux and Windows, software and operating systems, secure shells, active directories, as well as computer networking protocols and the five layer and OSI models.
He previously served as an Auxiliary Police Officer for the NYPD after undergoing two months of academic and physical training which include self-defense tactics, CPR and first aid, and the New York State Penal Law. He was previously the valedictorian of the 108th precinct.
On the side he is a member of the NSLS. His community service and outreach was recognized locally and by government officials from awards which include the Valedictorian Award from the NYPD 108th precinct, a Certificate Of Achievement For Outstanding Service To The Community from Senator Michael. N. Gianaris and an Achievement Award from the Office Of The New York State Comptroller.
