Web scraping is one of the most important tools available to a data analyst in 2022. It enables someone to get large quantities of data from the internet for free and either repurpose this data or use it for research. Web scraping is constantly evolving as the internet itself evolves (often to limit web scrapers).  Despite its high political profile, web scraping is neither illegal nor unethical in most cases and can be an essential component of research efforts and business intelligence.  If there's one skill that will amaze peers and help your colleagues, it's competent web scraping.  

In this session, we will use Python to scrape social media sites and Amazon for data.  We will then format the data so that we can use it for Machine Learning.
