The GDSC 2022 Solution Challenge is a competition for university students to build solutions for problems in the community using Google Tech The Solution Challenge is an annual contest that invites students from GDSC communities to develop solutions for one or more of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) using Google technologies. Created by the United Nations in 2015, with support from all 193 United Nations Member States, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals aim to end poverty, ensure prosperity, and protect the planet. In this information session, you will hear about the opportunities the Solution Challenge presents for LSE and non-LSE students. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to ask questions about the competition, how to get involved, and previous submissions to our Core Team. At the end of the session, we will give you the opportunity to sign up for a matching system to create a team for the competition. Top 50 teams - Win a T-shirt, certificate, and mentorship from Googlers and other experts to improve and submit a solution for the top prize. Top 10 finalists - Win a $1,000 cash prize per team member, swag, certificate, mentorship from Google, and a feature in the Google Developers Blog and Demo Day livestream.
