The LSESU Visual Arts Society is delighted to invite you to our first conference, “NFTs: The New World in Art and Tech” on Thursday the 10th of March 2022, 17:30-19:30, followed by a reception


The event will be of a hybrid form, taking place at the LSE Sheikh Zayed Theatre (NAB) and via Zoom.

Our speakers, Simon Oldfield, Art Advisor, Curator and Lawyer, and Chris Speed, Chair of Design Informatics at the University of Edinburgh, will be joining us online to discuss the uprising trend of NFTs, their role in the Art Market, and their environmental impact.


The event is organised by LSESU Visual Arts Society under the auspices of the LSE Students' Union and is supported by LSESU Entrepreneurs, LSESU Sustainable Futures, LSESU Hellenic Society, LSESU Alternative Careers, LSESU Art Business Societies, and LSE Google DSC.
