The aim of this event is to celebrate the achievements of women in technology and empower the future generation of women!

📢 What to expect:

Speaker Talks: 30 minute talks with leaders in various careers in technology. They are here to share their insight and advice in pursuing a career in technology and growing as a leader

Panel Session: Open QnA and discussion where you can learn and hear about the experience in various tech opportunities for students

Workshops: Learn a new technical skill through various DSC Chapters globally and connect with other student developers in the community! This is a chance to learn all about Google developer technologies!

Coding Competition: Apply and practice your development skills to solve a weekend challenge with others. This is a chance to win some exciting prizes from Google and you gain another project to add to your portfolios!

We will be hosting our live event online through Zoom. Come back to the event page the day/time of the event and you will be able to join the event. The speakers, facilitators and panelists will be using their camera and mics, and you are welcomed to join us. Of course, we will understand if you prefer to keep your video or mic (or both) off and just participate in the live chat.

Who can join? Any student in any major, year or background can be a part!

How do I join the Coding Competition? When registering, you'll be able to indicate "yes" or "no" in signing up for the Coding Competition and join our Discord Server below to stay in communication with everything around the challenge

Do I need coding experience to participate? Nope! We want to create an event where ALL students can participate no matter what skill level you are at. Throughout the event we'll be hosting workshops where students can learn a new technical skill which can later be applied in the challenge.
