In this masterclass, FNA CEO Kimmo Soramäki and FNA Data Scientist Amanah Ramadiah will introduce students to FNA’s Suptech and Regtech solutions for central banks, showcasing some of the current applications of network science. This masterclass will include some demonstrations of FNA’s own solutions and case studies with central banks on the G20 Monitor. The presentation will provide insights about what students can do with their skills after university, and more specifically about the kind of data analysis and issues the team at FNA is interested in. This high-level presentation will be followed by an introduction to Network Science workshop. Students will be guided through a theoretical explanation of network science fundamentals and a hands-on sample problem statement. Students should have installed the latest version of python and are advised to sign up for the G20 Monitor (https://g20monitor.com/) - it is free to use and will be used throughout the entire event.
