About this event

We are delighted to announce that Daniel Keiper-Knorr will join us on the 5th of November for a "Guided Q&A Session". He is the Co-Founder and General Partner of Speedinvest, one of the leading early stage tech focused VC funds in Europe. The session will be geared towards his experience in VC, the process of raising and founding a VC fund, and an interesting topic that he has recently talked about: "how VC's should stop chasing unicorns and start creating serial entrepreneurs, as European enterprise exits valued at less than €50 million can form the foundation of a strong European startup ecosystem".

About Daniel Keiper Knorr:

Daniel founded his first company in 2000. Shortly thereafter, he co-founded 3united, a 3-way merger, which, in early 2006, was acquired by VeriSign for €55 million. From 2007 onwards, Daniel continued to work as a business angel and consultant, investing in Austrian and Swiss startups. In 2011, he Co Founded Speedinvest, and since then, the fund has established itself as one of the leading VC's in Europe. As a Partner, he runs investor relations and the fundraising desk, as well as supports portfolio companies with business development.

“Creating things and partnering with beginners to guide them to excellence runs like a golden thread through my life – in business as in private.”

About Speedinvest:

Speedinvest is a leading venture capital fund that invests in seed and early stage tech startups across Europe. Some of its portfolio companies include insurtech Wefox, e-scooter rental company Tier Mobility, and fintechs Curve, Tide and Luko. They recently raised a new (third) €190 million fund, which brings the firm's total assets under management to more than €400 million. The fund has 5 focused investment teams located in London, Berlin, Vienna, Munich and Paris.
