About this event

Since opening its doors in 2010, SoftBank Academia has developed alongside the SoftBank Group's business endeavors as an institution for discovering and training successors who will lead the Group through the next era.

For eleven years now, students from diverse backgrounds and from both inside and outside the SoftBank Group have been coming together and striving to improve themselves. Over these years, technology has transformed industries at an unprecedented pace, and the SoftBank Group has taken the challenge to lead these transformations. SoftBank Academia aims to be an institution that discovers and trains the leaders of the next generation and it has graduated well over 600 students who are harnessing their skills in their respective fields.

However, around the world the spread of COVID-19 has had a significant impact on our lifestyle, society, and economy. In times of crisis like these, our leaders face a true test of their abilities as they work to overcome the impact of this pandemic.

Information Revolution – Happiness for everyone

This management philosophy has not changed since Headmaster Masayoshi Son founded the SoftBank Group. As a corporate group that will continue to grow for the next 300 years in the midst of the biggest paradigm shift in history, our goal is to realize this philosophy, and we are looking for like-minded individuals to work with us to build a bright future for humanity.
