This tech talk is designed to provide practical tips and strategies for individuals seeking to enter the tech industry and land their first job. The talk will focus on the key skills and experience required to secure a job in tech and the dos and don'ts of job searching.

During the talk, participants will learn about the different roles and job opportunities available in the tech industry and the skills and experience required for these roles. We will also cover the importance of building a professional network and gaining experience through internships, volunteer work, or personal projects.

Next, we will explore the essential elements of a job application, including writing a compelling resume and cover letter, building an online portfolio, and leveraging social media to showcase your skills and experience. Participants will have the opportunity to review sample resumes and cover letters and receive feedback on their own application materials.

We will also discuss effective job search strategies, including how to identify job openings, use job search engines, and network effectively. Participants will learn how to prepare for interviews, including how to research potential employers, practice answering common interview questions, and make a positive impression through their communication skills and body language.

Throughout the talk, we will incorporate interactive activities and real-world examples to help participants develop their skills and knowledge. Participants will also have the opportunity to ask questions and share their own experiences.

As the talk will be conducted on a Twitter space, participants will be able to join the conversation and engage with the speakers through their Twitter accounts. The talk will be recorded and made available for those who are unable to attend the live session.
