Learn How to Create Your First Android App

Have you ever wanted to build your own app for Android devices? Do you have a great idea for an app but don’t know where to start? If so, this event is for you!

Join us on 18/12/2023 from 5:20 pm to 7:20 pm for a hands-on workshop where you will learn how to create your first Android app using Android Studio, the official integrated development environment (IDE) for Android development. You will also learn the basics of Android programming, such as activities, layouts, intents, and permissions.

By the end of this workshop, you will have a working app that you can run on your own device or emulator. You will also have the skills and confidence to continue your Android development journey.

Prerequisites

To participate in this workshop, you will need to have a laptop with Android Studio installed. You can download Android Studio for free from here. You will also need to have some basic knowledge of Kotlin programming. If you are new to Java, you can check out some online tutorials from here.
