DSC-JGI is bringing you the hottest Ideathon of 2021. “We welcome participants from all backgrounds, no need to know anything about design thinking or hackathons!” HackDay-2021 is a 12-hour ideathon where students get an opportunity to innovate new ideas, discover different paths and push the boundaries of technology.

Eager to participate in HackDay-2021 but not sure about the best pitch of your idea to win the ideathon? Don’t worry! During the event, we'll share with you tools and methods that will help you craft your pitch, and set you for success.

The event will start with a keynote kickoff, followed by an introductory presentation. In the next portion, there will be a brainstorming session, and the rest of the day will be dedicated to teamwork time.

We'll start the session by introducing the challenges. You'll then have the time to sprint your idea with your team. The remainder of the time will be spent developing the concepts, interrogating the innovation, building a proof of concepts and delivering a solid pitch to support it. Finally, you'll get the opportunity to present to experts who will judge your proposal. You will bask in the glory associated with shaping your future and a lot of goodies.

If this is your very first event, we’ve got a ton of beginner-friendly challenges for you to complete that’ll have you shipping your hack like a pro in no time. You’ll have your pick of technical, design, and social challenges to complete - each with an emphasis on sharing your work. The more challenges you conquer, the more points you’ll earn.

There are challenges for every skill level from beginner-friendly to hackathon experts. We have a set of 12-hour long challenges that you can complete whenever you’re ready to. Aside from our challenges, we’ll have “fun sessions” for you to enjoy. They’ll walk you through signing up, completing the challenge, and submitting it properly. So don’t miss them!

We promise it would be a great day with food, drinks, ideas and bucket loads of fun.

The only requirement is to come with a lot of bright ideas and enthusiasm!
