The term open source refers to something people can modify and share because its design is publicly accessible. The term originated in software development to designate a specific approach to creating computer programs. Today, "open source" represents a broader set of values—what we call "the open-source way." Open-Source projects, products, or initiatives embrace and celebrate principles of open exchange, collaborative participation, rapid prototyping, transparency, meritocracy, and community-oriented development. "HACKTOBER FEST" 2022 is one of the biggest opportunities to get into Open Source, hence we urge every student to participate and know the importance of the Open-Source Community. Please read our EVENTS CODE OF CONDUCT (https://docs.google.com/document/d/1gFKOhyUqMZzrZcbq8A_TpO5x9J9HK6agv70awCH8pyI/edit) before attending. Happy hacking!
