We're thrilled to announce that the registration for Ideathon 2.0 is now open. We invite you to bring your innovative ideas to the forefront, whether it's through a dynamic PowerPoint presentation or a tangible working model. The only requirement is that your idea aligns with any of the 17 goals of sustainable development set by the United Nations.

About this event

Welcome to Ideathon 2.0 - an event designed to harness innovation towards solving real-world issues aligning with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through the power of technology. Participants are encouraged to identify a problem, either personal or societal, that addresses one of the UN's SDGs and propose a tech-driven solution. Teams consisting of 2 to 4 members will collaborate to bring their ideas to life.

This event unfolds in three stages:

Stage 1: Registration (Deadline: December 23rd)

Individual participants must register, listing their team members and defining the identified problem.

Stage 2: Screening (Deadline: January 1st 2024)

Teams submit abstract solutions in PDF or PPT format, emphasizing the integration of AI/ML, Flutter, Kotlin, or the potential for a tangible prototype. Top 15 teams progress to the next round with assigned mentors.

Stage 3: Presentation (Deadline: January 11th)

The top ideas advance to the final presentation stage, working alongside mentors to develop a functional model of their solution, due before the deadline.

Event Timeline:

- Registration opens: December 17, 2023

- Abstract Submission begins: December 24, 2023

- Abstract Submission deadline: January 1, 2024

- Screening Round results: January 3, 2024, announced at 1:30 PM across all our social media channels

- Top 15 teams will present their working models in front of the jury

The top 25 teams get the opportunity to compete in the Global Solutions Challenge, representing IIIT Bhopal internationally. Additionally, those in the global top 100 will receive mentorship from Google experts.

Rules:

1. Team size limit: 4 members maximum.

2. Plagiarism is strictly prohibited; disqualification will result from any cheating.

3. Registration and abstract submission should be truthful and complete.

4. Abstract submission deadline: January 1, 2024

5. The jury's decision is final.
