The month of October has arrived, and so has Hacktoberfest! This singularly unique and globally renown FOSS event is a wonderful opportunity to flex your software development muscles - and win some awesome goodies along the way. To make you familiar with the ins and outs of Hacktoberfest, that is, when, where and how to make your open source contributions, the core team of the Developer Student Club, IIIT-A has decided to host an orientation event for the benefit of the potential participants. This webinar will be lead by two of our most experienced developers. Shivansh Tiwari, who has had the distinction of participating in the GSoC 2019 and being chosen as a mentor for the same this year, will be the keynote speaker, as well as Deepak Katre, an open source enthusiast who has quickly established himself as one of the leading figures of FOSS in the college, and has mentored over a 100 students as an Open Code Mentor. So put your costumes on, because this is a treat you don't want to miss!
