After new year's break, GDSC IIEST is back with the first session of the year: Linux File System and the Command Line. This will be the beginning of a series where later on some complex specifics of Linux will be covered.
During the session, you'll get to know about
>> Some commonly used helpful Linux commands, and what they do.
>> A brief idea about the kernel, file and directory system.
>> User permissions, sudo, SUIDs, and crontabs.
Linux is a widely used operating system for development, coding, as well as daily purposes, so if you work on a Linux environment or want to know the basics of how to work with it, this session will be definitely beneficial to you.
The session is scheduled to be held on 6th January, at 6:00 pm IST.
