Hey all Hyper students, both old and new.

It is with great pleasure that I can announce that over summer Google selected me to found and lead a Google Developer Student Club at Hyper Island. I think it'll be a perfect compliment to the education as it's currently provided, giving an excellent opportunity for cross-program collaboration, and it is my great hope that it will become an inclusive and safe community group for students at Hyper Island interested in Google developer technologies to grow their knowledge in a peer-to-peer learning environment and build solutions for local businesses and their community.

During this event I will discuss what a GDSC is and what possibilities it can provide you as members, I will discuss potential upcoming events and projects, and most importantly I will tell you how you can get involved, how you sign up to become a member, and inform you about the roles you can apply to should you wish to take on some additional responsibilities and the want the possibility to create impact.

The event will most likely be hybrid, with those who wish to attend in-person welcome to join on campus, and those who can't make it can join online, though final details are still to be confirmed. I will also create a form for you to add any questions you may have.
