DSC Weekend Tunisia is organized by 11 Tunisian DSC leads. It is targeting the university students and the Data Science enthusiasts in Tunisia. The event is going to be the biggest collaboration between more than 11 universities from all over Tunisia. Through the event, we will be streaming live tech talks and Machine Learning/ Artificial intelligence related workshops. The workshops will cover three levels: Introductory, intermediate and advanced. Then we will wrap up the event with the AI/ML Hackathon. It is going to be a 24-hour hackathon and the whole competition in going to be on Zindi Platform. The event will take place online on December 26th, and 27. The participants will form teams and compete in the hackathon on the Zindi platform. Teams will represent their universities and will compete against teams from other universities for Money and in-kind prizes for the top three student teams. Winners will be determined based on the Zindi leaderboard which objectively ranks all solutions. Note that the number limit for the teams is 4 members. The tentative program is as follows (all times are local times). The Hackathon will be a full-day event (24 hours): *The 1st day: 12:00PM – 1:00PM info session and clubs presentations by DSC Leads. 15 minutes break 1:15 PM – 2:15 PM 1st ML workshop (introductory level). 15 minutes break 2:30 PM – 3:30 PM 2nd ML workshop (intermediate level). 15 minutes break 3:45 PM – 4:45 PM 3rd ML workshop (advanced level). 15 minutes break 5:00 PM - Theme announcement 8:00 PM Start of the Hackathon *The 2nd day: 8:00 PM the submissions’ deadline.
