*** NOTE: This is a fully in-person session *** Have you ever wanted to do more with an old console gathering dust? Have you ever seen Linux installed in places it shouldn't be? Have you ever wanted to customize a console beyond the intended abilities? Our next session is all about Console Homebrew, where you can get your hands dirty, using software to teach an old console new tricks. Join us this Friday (October 14th) here at Heriot-Watt University, Dubai Campus from 14:30 onwards. Feel free to bring your own old consoles lying around, or you can use the ones provided in the session too. No technical experience will be required! This session is taken by Mahmoud Elsheikh, PhD Student at Heriot-Watt University. NOTE: All demonstrations shown will not contain any risk to the hardware. All modifications are done in software. People interested in bringing their own consoles can message Mahmoud at moe2@hw.ac.uk for clarifications.
Details regarding the Classroom will be sent to registered attendees shortly before the event.
